My therapeutic approach employs Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and helps adults, children, and teens understand how their thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. It’s like figuring out a puzzle – you learn how thinking can affect your emotions and actions.
With CBT, you learn to challenge your thoughts and find new ways to think about yourself, others, and the world around you. CBT is the “gold standard” treatment for anxiety and depression and has been helpful for many people dealing with things like obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), problems with eating, and fears of certain things (phobias).
Sometimes, people need a sounding board to discuss their problems. I create a warm, open, nonjudgmental space to talk through anything you might be struggling with and provide constructive feedback.
